Hold a cake and coffee morning for The Children's Society

Story

Having taken on the 3 peaks challenge and many an obstacle race I have decided to put my experience towards a good cause, raising money for charity by taking on the trek to Everest Base Camp. For this we will be flying out of Heathrow for an 11 day trek through the Himalayas navigating tough terrain, steep slopes and reaching an altitude of over 5,300m.

The charity I will be supporting is The Children's Society, an amazing charity which works with young people throughout the UK. The Children's Society is a National charity that provide care for vulnerable children who have no where else to turn. They offer many services from supporting those affected by adult substance misses to providing care for victims of exploitation.

For these reasons I am aiming to raise £2,800 to help the charity by taking on Everest Base Camp in the summer of 2017!
