Story
On Sunday 4th March I'll be walking the Moorfields Eye to Eye with my mum, Kath.
In 2017 I was diagnosed with a sight threatening form of Uveitis known as Punctate Inner Choroidopathy . P.I.C has caused me to permanently lose almost all sight in my left eye and continues to threaten my right eye.
I've visited Moorfields Eye Hospital over 30 times since my diagnosis, equivalent to a visit every 9 days... I think I owe them this.
The 14 Mile route ends at the London Eye, rather than cheer us on, why not meet us for a celebratory Sunday afternoon pint on the Southbank. (exact location tbc)
Every penny raised will help fund pioneering research at Moorfields Eye Hospital to help create a future where sight loss is a thing of the past.
