Sunday 10th May was a perfect day for running, and the Hereford 10K and 5K the perfect way for us to combine as a family and show our gratitude to St Michael's.

Some of us flew round (Andrew, Martin and Mary all achieving a 60 minute 10k, Erin just over the half-hour for 5K), some of us plodded (Elly slightly missed her previous PB, but that could have been down to delays in the loo queue...and enjoying the views rather too much on the way round) but we all loved it, and the Mars bars and coffee at the end, followed by Mum's beef casserole and a glass of red wine, tasted particularly good. 

The previous day we laid Dad's ashes to rest in the Chapter House garden at Hereford Cathedral, on a sunny day with the swifts flying above. So it was a true weekend of remembrance and celebration.
