Story
As many of you know, my younger sister Lucy passed away very suddenly on Monday 11th January. Lucy was very many things, including a much loved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was also a talented and creative composer who was due to start a PhD in September.
As well as being a talented composer in her own right, Lucy was both a disabled young woman, and a fierce and passionate advocate for improving accessibility and diversity in the arts and beyond.
In her memory we are asking for donations to Drake Music, a charity dedicated to supporting disabled and neurodiverse young people to write, create and play music. This was a cause very close to Lucy’s heart and a Charity she worked both with, and for, as a mentor to other young disabled musicians.
If you do have anything to give it would be much appreciated by her family.
