This year I have set myself the challenge of running the Edinburgh Half Marathon!!At the beginning of last year, my grandad was diagnosed with Dementia and, as a consequence, my family are now one of the thousands across the UK affected by this horrible disease. As many as 1 in 14 people over the age of 65 in the UK have dementia, and this increases to 1 in 6 over the age of 80! That's why I have decided to partner with Alzheimer's Research UK in order to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity which works tirelessly to better understand and fight Alzheimers disease.
