Story

This April I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for the UK Sepsis Trust.

As many of you know, my beloved father Campbell passed away very suddenly last December aged 55 in what came as a massive shock to my family and me.

In just two weeks, he went from being perfectly healthy to not being around anymore.

I am now raising money for the UK Sepsis Trust in his memory to help raise awareness so no one else has to go through what we did last Christmas.

If you can donate, any amount would be so so appreciated but if you can’t, I would also love anyone who can to come and cheer me along on the day.

I am not a natural runner at all so will just be doing my best to cross the finish line at the end!

Thank you so much for any support and for all the kind words I’ve received over the past year 💙,

Eleanor Dye

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
