Story
I have signed up to do this triathlon, it's in two weeks and I'm really concerned I'm not going to be able to do it because I am terribly unhealthy. However, the idea of doing it for mental health UK is making me take training more seriously, and some donations would make something which only seems as a foolish decision, actually beneficial.
I have now bought a bike, and a wetsuit, and have all the kit (I think?) And am training a bit. I'd really appreciate any donations and in return will post up awful photos of me after each training session to amuse you all.
I don't want to go on about why mental health UK is such a great charity, as I'm sure you all know, and I'm sure you all know people who have been affected by mental illness. Charities like MHUK are a key part in raising awareness as well as providing support for those who are affected by mental health illnesses - we need to support these charities now more than ever.
So dig deep and in return I'll make a fool of myself.
Oh, my goals for the race are: do not take a break at any point. Try and do it in under 2.30 (which actually doesn't seem massively likely). Be totally chill if I end up last.
