Story
Hello.
Thank you so much for your support. And for helping me say a huge thank you to to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust for rescuing me when I was 14.
In a few days I'll be running 13 miles through mud and water, and tackling 150 terrifying obstacles.
You can see just how riduculously hard it's going to be here: http://www.ratracedirtyweekend.com/
I'll be honest, I'm scared. And I'm starting to doubt I can make it to the finish line.
So I thought, maybe if I can raise some money for some really brave people it'll keep me going.
The amazing staff and volunteers at the Devon Air Ambulance Trust have braved nearly 20,000 more nerve-racking challenges than I'm about to, to rescue thousands of people from accidents and medical emergencies. They save lives, every single day, and to do that they rely on donations as they don't get funding from the government.
When I slipped on rocks on a beach at the bottom of a cliff, and badly hurt my leg an ambulance couldn't help me and a lifeboat couldn't reach me, so it was a team of amazing people from the Devon Air Ambulance Trust who rescued me, and got me to A&E.
This is my way of saying thanks, and I hope you can give a few pounds to help too.
Thanks again for your support.
Wish me luck!
