CANCER affects us all.  Our friends and family who been treated in the Beatson Cancer Centre have been given excellent care here during their time of need and I would like to give them something back to allow them to continue to give the dedicated care to cancer patients from the West of Scotland.

 

My sister Mairi and I are organising a range of events and activities during the year building up to our biggest challenge yet - trekking part of the Great Wall of China in October!  The trek will be physically and mentally demanding, walking on some of the steepest, unrestored parts of the wall for 1 week taking in approximately 15kms per day in hot and humid conditions.  The challenge isn’t just about the trek itself as our goal is to raise as much funds for our 2 chosen charities as we can.  We’ve been overwhelmed already by the support that our friends, families and locals have given us - SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
