Story

Welcome to Elaine's 10k sponsorship page - thanks for taking time to visit!

Can't believe I've actually now committed to doing the 10k - I couldn't even run 1k before I agreed to this!  Definitely will be a challenge, but those who know me know I'm pretty determined when I want to be!  I'll be running alongside Lorna, the girl who got me into this - no doubt we'll be comparing blisters as we go!

I'm going to be running to raise money for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow, a great charity which is close to home and provides specialist care for people with life-limiting illnesses, usually cancer, as well as support for their families and carers:

"The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice brings comfort and peace of mind to patients for whom cure is no longer possible.  We take a holistic approach, recognising our patients' emotional, social and spiritual needs as well as practising advanced pain and symptom control.  We treat the person, not the disease - and also offer practical and emotional support to families and carers in this most difficult of times."

Please just sponsor what you can, I am aiming to secure Cashmatch agreement from my work, which will mean that everything I raise will then be doubled by Cadbury!

SUNDAY 9TH MAY - ELAINE AND LORNA RUN THE 10K!  PLEASE SPONSOR ME TODAY!
