Story
I am taking part in the 29 Miles in February challenge to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK. I will complete 29 miles in 29 days because funding vital dementia research is particularly close to my heart. I also believe that getting out and about is quite key to mental health and what better incentive than this challenge to force myself out in these cold, dark and wet February days.
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the charity leading the search for a cure and they will keep going until everyone is free from the heartbreak of dementia. Please support my fundraising efforts by making a donation to my page, and you could help towards finding a cure for dementia. £20 could fund one hour of ground-breaking research. £50 could provide access to specialist equipment to study cells. £250 could pay for a genetic test to help identify dementia risk genes. Every contribution, big or small, will drive forward the search for a cure.
