If you spend any time in San Diego, you will find that wildlife conservation is a big thing! Especially rhinos.  I remember as a kid learning about the San Diego Zoo's efforts to save the northern and southern white rhino from extinction. Today, San Diego has one of the premier rhino breeding programs in the world and is a leader in developing cutting-edge reproductive technologies at its "Frozen Zoo."  I'm a firm believer in the circle of life and that as species go extinct, it weakens the functionality of an entire ecosystem. Losing even one species should be unacceptable.  By participating in the London Marathon 2023, I will be fulfilling a dream to run this incredible marathon in one of my favorite cities and helping to raise awareness of, and funds for, rhino conservation by becoming a Rhino Runner!
