Jennifer and I are taking part in this years shinning star memory walk to help raise funds for the Ayrshire Hospice. 

Four years ago my mum, Helen Graham passed away at the Ayrshire hospice after a battle with peritoneal mesothelioma a rare cancer caused by asbestos for which there is currently no cure and it’s a terminal diagnosis. . 

During mums three years  living with cancer the hospice team were simply amazing. They  not only supported my mum with everything from reflexology treatments to ease her pain to helping her with her end of life plans, but they were also a huge support to my whole family especially in mums last few days which were spent in the hospice.

So please give as much or as little as you can to help this amazing place continue to do what they do best, caring for people
