Story

Hi folks x

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I have in my Wisdom decided to run 10K next Sunday as part of The Great Scottish Run!! Half marathon next year!!

Anyways you get to pick the Charity that you donate to & I have decided to do it for St Andrews Hospice.  As you all know my Wonderful Grandpa spent his last days there and was treated with the respect & dignity that he deserved. The staff were kind, compassionate and genuine.  They took time to listen to both my Grandpa & my family as we all struggled with the idea of him leaving us.  The Nurses sang with him at Bedtime and most of all he smiled for the biggest part of his stay there despite the sadness.

Anyone who has been here will know how much those simple things mean yet are not always around.  I would like to raise money to support the Hospice and also just to keep on saying thank you for everything they do.

Thanx guys
