In 6 months on 15th April I’ll be 40.  I’m choosing to give up alcohol until that day in 6 months time from 15th of October.

Mental health can be seriously affected by drinking alcohol and I’d like go through the process of abstaining to document mental health changes that may occur.  I’m going to find it tough, I LOVE wine but the deterioration in my own mental health has definitely been effected by consumption of alcohol.  

So whilst I’m doing it I thought it would be a great way to give back to the charity who help thousands of us on a daily basis beat our demons, no matter what they are.  

Let’s support mental health services now, more than ever.  They need us and we need them ❤️
