Story

In 2017, I lost a brother, who was also a loving uncle and father, to liver Cancer. At that time, I walked into the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice and just sat in their chapel/quiet room on several occasions. They asked no questions and allowed me access when I needed it. My brother had passed away in his local hospice and as a family, we were able to gather together and say our goodbyes.

Impressed with the work they do in our community, I registered as a volunteer (www.communityhospice.org.uk).

We have all experienced the loss of a loved one and the 'end of life' support given by such charities to families is amazing.

We are joining a phenomenal group of 40 women who are raising funds for various other charities looking after people affected by cancer, which have all been hit by the C-19 restrictions in the past 18 months, and we thank you so much for your support.

We are trekking from the Dead Sea to the hidden city of Petra (55km)!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. We are being sponsored by our charity which is amazing but the absolute majority of monies raised will be going to them.
