Donating my hair to little princess trust · 9 January 2017

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hello, my name is El and I am cutting off 12 inches (a foot) of my hair and donating it to the little princess trust. They make wigs for children who have partially or fully lost their hair to chemotherapy treatment. My work colleague is under going chemo at the moment and has cut her hair shorter. I have been inspired by her brave approach and attitude. This is for her and anyone else going through the same thing.
