Story
This Saturday, I’m climbing Mount Snowdon to raise money for orphans and needy children across the world.
Charity Week is an annual initiative by Cambridge University's Islamic Society to raise funds for orphans and needy children across the world. It raises funds as part of a global initiative by Islamic Relief.
Last year as a society, we raised over £34,000, including £12,000 through Snowdon. Globally, Charity Week raised more than £1.8 million through 376 institutions in 8 countries and was used to fund projects ranging from emergency health services in Afghanistan and rehab for disabled children in Chechnya to orphan home refurbishment in Bosnia and a social incubator and education centre in Kosovo.
Donate now to make a difference to orphans and needy children around the world.
