We fund medical equipment and services to give our children the best possible care
Story
To say that we are devastated by the loss of our daughter Eilish
is by far the biggest understatement I will ever make.
Eilish was the brightest of stars and in our eyes the best daughter and
sister we could ever have hoped for - she shone at everything she did
and touched so many lives in her short 17 (nearly 18) years with us.
Not sure I will ever really understand why she had to go but I know that if there really is a heaven that she is there because she simply was a good soul.
No-one could have been prouder of their daughter than we were, are, of
Eilish and her achievements, all done with the minimum of fuss and
bother. Never gave us as much as a single sleepless night and could
literally make us laugh until we cried with some of her antics.
Her loss is, already, unbearable but has been made easier by friends
and family and there words of support - everyone echoing the same
thing...how Eilish made there life better by being in it......
On the 10th September, around 2.30pm the world seemed to dim just a little bit.
I know that Eilish knew we loved her as she was told a number of times
every day...and we know that she loved us because she told us a number
of times every day....
We will all miss you so very much baby
girl and the world will not be anywhere as bright as it was when you
were here but offered the choice all those years ago I would have taken
you even if it was only "on loan".
The family are being asked about charitable donations in Eilish's
memory..... Eilish wanted to be a nurse and eventually work with
children so we feel it fitting that any charitable donation go to the
Yorkhill hospital but in particular to the Shielhallion ward where a
close friend of the family fought a war against leukaemia ......and Won!
Eilish would be very proud of any donations - please do this instead of flowers.
Thank you
