Story
Hi
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On 12th December 2005 my daughter Eilidh was born 6 weeks early at only 3lb 15oz.
Thanks to the special care that she received she is now a healthy cheeky one year old.
In recognition of the support that we were all given in hospital, I would like to raise money for BLISS .
This is a charity that campaigns for improvements in neonatal care so that more babies survive and have the best quality of life.
This is why, on Sunday 22nd April, when most of you are nursing a hangover, I will be running the 26.2 miles of the London marathon.
Please give generously, this is a very good cause…………..
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BLISS will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now
Many thanks for your support.
Isn't Aimee Hall a very generous young lady.........
Thanks to everyone who came to my race night as well as my sponsors who helped raise over £1100.
On Sun 22nd April, despite very hot conditions, I managed to complete the Marathon in 4hrs 37min 53sec.
I would like to thank everyone who wished me luck.
I was hoping to complete the race in under 4 ½ hours so I plan to go back in a couple of years and try again.
Anyone want to join me ?
