As the owner of Safe Local Trades, my team and I are very proud to support Age UK Peterborough, a charity that provides such a valuable and much-needed service in our communities.

This year we have three fundraising events; Great Eastern Run on Sunday 14th October, a Firewalk on Thursday evening 18th October and a Skydive on Sunday 21st October. I have previously taken part in a Skydive so this year I will be taking part in the 4k Great Eastern Fun Run on Sunday 14th October and a Firewalk event planned for the evening of 18th October. We would like to get as many people as possible involved, so if you are interested in taking part in the running, sky diving or simply walking on fire!, then please email me at eileen@safelocaltrades.com. Alternatively, any donation to my page, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

Age UK provide a vital service and constantly strive to cater for the well-being of all older people in our communities. During the coming winter months, more resources than ever are needed as the elderly are at particular risk at this time of the year.

Every penny will be appreciated by the older and vulnerable people in our communities so please dig deep and help support them.
