My daughter Kerry Harvey was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April 2013 when she was just 23 years old after months of complaining of the symptoms, which we now know to be associated with this deadly disease.  By the time she was diagnosed, she was Stage 4 and it was too late for surgery - currently the only potential cure.  

Like 50% of patients, she had never heard of it before and was even more shocked to find it was the fifth biggest cancer killer with a shockingly low survival rate of just 3%!!!

Kerry was so shocked by the statistics that she was determined to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and ultimately save lives.  This included taking part in the most influential advertising campaign to date for pancreatic cancer that achieved global coverage.  Kerry appeared in most UK national newspapers and was interviewed by TV and radio.  

Despite being very ill herself, she was determined to get more people aware of pancreatic cancer so that they were diagnosed earlier and have a better chance of survival than she had.  She was so brave, inspirational and selfless being part of this campaign.

I am determined to keep my beautiful daughter's legacy going and have been busy organising a number of fundraising events in her memory. These include bag-packing events and an event in August (flyer attached).
