Rob James My Beautiful Angel

As many of my friends and family know Rob was a very active man who enjoyed life to the full.(and bloody gorgeous too : ) Rob was a very fit, healthy man who took great pride in his fitness and physique. As a couple Rob and I were great together, we just hit it off from the very first time we met. We enjoyed being active often cycled together up to Ballater, we would have coffee and cake there before cycling home again(well we had earned a wee treat).

We used to gym together at Aboyne fitness room and Rob also trained at Maersk Gym and had recently taken up touch rugby. It was while playing for the Maersk Rugby Team that Rob snapped his achilles tendon, an every day injury we thought. How wrong we were to believe this. The catastrophic events that followed have changed so many lives forever.

Rob is missed by so many of us every day and I still cannot believe that this strong handsome man is no longer with us.

We will do you proud Rob, even if some of us will be dragging our asses up that blooming hill, we will help raise awareness of this condition to try and help other families avoid the loss and pain we have been through.
