The Race to Respond is more than your average 10km immersive race; it is a physical and mental challenge designed by CARE International UK based on the experiences of our humanitarian workers in real emergency situations.

Every year CARE responds to emergencies and disasters that affect the lives of millions of people around the world. They deploy emergency staff to respond to dozens of new and ongoing emergencies, providing humanitarian assistance to millions of people. With emergency - response experts on the ground in over 60 countries – 95% of them  citizens of those countries, with local knowledge and expertise – they  provide emergency food, relief supplies, water, sanitation, healthcare, livelihoods support and shelter to people in need.
