Story

Here's the new donation page (accepts SGD)! The previous organisation (Research Autism) was absorbed into the National Autistic Society (NAS) so donations will be through this page instead.

Post run message:

Hi everyone,

I promise this’ll be the last message in a long time now (sorry for the spam).

As some of you know I set out to run this marathon sometime in August last year, with intention to raise some funds and awareness for autism. Over time however, I’ve come to think that beyond autism, mental conditions/health are something that we generally don’t understand much, and rather than asking you to donate, I hope you can take the time to watch a short video (less than 2min).

I think that I’m definitely guilty myself of being insensitive to others who might potentially be suffering without my knowledge, and I think we can all do with giving the benefit of the doubt and trying to be more empathetic/supportive of others. I believe that there’s value in everyone having at the back of their minds that sometimes, when others behave in ways we can’t understand/we find annoying, they might be facing problems we can never understand.

Special thanks to my ardent supporters/best housemates ever for making the trip down to Brighton to support/carry me home, and everyone who supported with the well wishes!!!

Also can the anonymous donors please let me know so i can thank you personally! thanks :)
