We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Help to beat all cancers.

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This September, I’m raising money at Shine Night Walk to help Cancer Research UK fund its life-saving work.

During the last 6 years I lost both Mum & Dad to this horrid disease, and myself had a lesion taken from my forehead just before Christmas which was infected with it.  Thankfully it was caught in time and cut out.

So, having done the walk in 2011 & 2012, I've decided - after giving 2013 a miss - it is time to give it another go and help raise some money towards kicking cancers butt.  I could do the half-marathon - but would be stuck in London all night, so may as well spend the time in a useful manner :o)

Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Gift Aid

And remember if you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you. Not of you get something useful out of the Government so tick that box.

Sleep can wait. Beating cancer can’t.
