Edward was a fit and healthy boy, with an enormous zest for life, who lived life to the full.  On 5th December 2016 he became very ill with meningococcal septicaemia, and lost his life.  The Edward Dee Fund was a charity set up in his name to raise awareness of meningitis and sepsis; it also funds community projects in his memory, and supports other related charities ... UK Sepsis Trust is one of these.
