Story
In July i will be attempting 2 crazy endurance events to raise money for my favourite charity Keep the beat.
First up i will be Joining the annual Keep the beat Cycling challenge, remembering our friends Son Harvey lear, which this year sees us attempt to ride from KTB headquarters in Burbage to Watergate Bay in Cornwall, a mere 300 Miles in 24 hrs!!
If that wasn't enough i will then be attempting to complete Ironman UK, a 4km Swim, 180 km Bike and a marathon 2 weeks later.
Rather than have 2 event pages running i have decided to combine both events together, with a combined fundraising target of £1000.
KTB is a fantastic Charity, run by our friends Adam & Anita Tansey, that provides invaluable support to the children & families affected by congenital Heart problems as well as well working alongside Glenfield Hospitals paediatric unit to provide essential equipment & training facilities. Please take a minute to look at the work they do on www.keepthebeat.co.uk.
Last year we raised over £50,000 on our cycling challenge, and every penny of that money went directly to the hospital and the charities work.
Please be as generous as you can.
Many thanks
Ed
