Story
I am Edward Stoner, if you're here you will know my mum, Diane Stoner, sadly lost her battle against cancer on 12/12/2021. you will also know i have a fairly large beard (something i am particularly proud of) i have made the decision to raise money for the amazing staff at St Barnabas house in Worthing. The care mum received in her time at st Barnabas, as well as the way they were there for dad was amazing. I will be raising money by shaving not only my head, but also my beloved beard, and, not just trimming, SHAVING, all of it will go. This will take place on 08/01/2022, will be broadcast live to Facebook and will include my Dad Glenn, Sister Charlotte, Wife Leanne as well as my Son Michael, Daughter Brooke, nephews Leighton and Otis, Niece Millie, all taking turns to shave me, until everything is gone.
St Barnabas House is a charity based in Worthing which provides palliative and end of life care to adults with life-limiting illnesses. We believe everyone facing life-limiting illness should receive the care and support they deserve. Our mission is to provide dignity, comfort and choice for adults who need specialised, supportive care.Your generous support helped to provide specialist supportive care for 1,786 local people and their families at the hospice and in the comfort of their own homes last year.
Every donation, small or large, will be going directly to St Barnabas, and will be greatly appreciated not only by the hospice, but also myself, my family and everyone who knew mum. £500 can give a family the same level of support and care that mum received from these amazing people. To me, this is the best way to say thank you to the amazing people who cared for mum and have continued to support the rest of our family.
Thank you
