We’ve all seen the news images of children and young people in Ukraine with their lives being ripped apart, and being displaced by war. 

(UNICEF UK is currently involved in protecting children in danger around the world as well as Ukraine)

Running The Americas is a challenge of 2 marathons in 2 months. Vancouver Canada on 1st May and Rio de Janeiro Brazil on 19th June. This will be the first time I’ve attempted two 26.2 mile runs so close together. 

The challenge forms the North and South American contingent of my mission to run a marathon on each of the seven continents. 

I’m hoping now to raise a few quid for UNICEF in the process.
