Dementia is something that my family as well as many others have to cope with on a daily basis. Back in 2015 my mam Margaret was diagnosed with dementia. Since then everyday has been a battle with this cruel disease. While also having to watch the impact it has had on my Dad Bill having to watch his wife of 55 years fade away.

Running the great North Run 2022 for Dementia UK will hopefully raise awareness as well as money to find a cure. Your donations will not bring me back the parts of my mam that I and my family have lost to this cruel disease. But it might help stop the hurt and heartache other familys will go through in the future.
