Back in 2018 my mother Annabelle was diagnosed with MS which sadly deteriorated her health quickly. The appalling consequences of this meant her independence and ability to function on her own terms was being taken away from her. She decided to take her own life which has left a hole in our lives that no one should live with. 

With all the fantastic support and aid MS-UK give, we hope these incidences will be massively reduced and more awareness will be raised.

I have not run in the last year due to a slipped disc and a degenerative disc in my back; it’s been a long recovery. From Jan’24 I have built it up from 5km to 15km. My goal is to get around the course and cross the finish line without it going into spasm.
