To cut to the chase...I am running the equivalent distance from my house (near Manchester) to the Hilton Park Lane London to raise money for Dreamflight. 

Why? Well, because normally we would be able to raise money on the night of The Learning Awards with a charity auction. But this year, the event will be virtual. So I want to do something to help.

As I write this, on 1st January 2020, it is exactly 49 days until The Learning Awards event happens. So basically, if I do this right I will need to run the equivalent of a marathon distance a week between now and 18th February. 

For me, this will be ambitious, and I am relying on support from friends, family and colleagues to help me achieve this. If you can donate then please do, and thank you!

My aim is to raise the equivalent of £100 per day if possible (totalling £5,000 if I add in £100 myself). Another big ask, but if people and companies out there can help, I will be eternally grateful.

Dreamflight is an incredible charity that I encourage you to read about. They really do change lives, and especially lives of children who have serious or terminal illnesses. Doing this for them is a privilege.
