In 2022 the Lighthouse Charity delivered a number of talks as part of their ‘Help Inside the Hard Hat Campaign’ here at the North Bridge Refurbishment Project. These were well received and the volume of positive feedback was incredible – there was a realisation that more of our friends and colleagues have suffered from mental health challenges than you might think. So, this year we have decided to give something back. The Edinburgh North Bridge team have entered the Edinburgh Kilomathon to raise funding for this charity – quite the challenge considering most of us are first time runners. On Easter Sunday morning we will set off from Leith and make our way across the city until we reach the finish line (hopefully!) inside the world famous BT Murrayfield. We have created this online fundraising page as we would love to raise some funding for this charity whilst also contributing to our own health, fitness, and wellbeing.

The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. They receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of those within in the industry to help continue their vital work.
