Story
My pupil Neve is really poorly. She loves coming to school on the days she feels well enough, other times she has to rest at home or spend time at hospital.
We know the hospital are doing a great job but we also know their budget is stretched. By raising some money we can buy things that make the doctors' and nurses' jobs a little easier and improve the experience in hospital a bit more comfortable.
We've already raised enough to buy a 'vein finder' machine that helps taking blood for tests easier and more comfortable. Neve really hates having blood taken and when you're unwell sometimes the nurses have to take very frequent samples to test so that's a real win for Neve and for other children who go to the children's ward.
Every penny we raise will make a real difference to the experience that children and young people have in Oxford's hospitals.

But this year they've asked people to do their own events and aim to raise £100 or more to keep the vital work of the charity going.Oxford Hospitals Charity raised funds for the John Radcliffe, Oxford Children's Hospital, Churchill, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and Horton General hospitals.Your donations will help make the hospitals more welcoming for patients and staff as well as funding state of the art equipment and important research. The charity has really supported patients and staff during COVID-19 and I want help them keep doing this vital work.Oxford Hospitals Charity"
