Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
EDEN was born with a rare condition Craniosynostosis. 10 years ago on 7th June 2010 he underwent 9 hours of gruelling surgery to reconstruct his skull to prevent brain damage. He has a type of Autism "Aspergers Syndrome " which may of been a result of his condition due to the pressure on his brain ad the suturesin the skull fuse together prematurely.
We wanted to thank the surgeons and hospital staff at Alder Hey for everything they did and continue to do for Eden . He had complications from his 1st surgery and left him with a screw making its way out of his skull and causing a low grade infection. He had to have further surgery to clean up the area and sew him back up again ..he is left as result of this with a huge hole in his skull which in the future may need filling with his bone from another area of his body .
He enjoys life and despite his disabilities he thrives at lots of things ,Dance being his main activity. He dances Ballroom, l Latin and street dance and competes nationally and internationally. We are very proud of him ..He has also been very fortunate to be chosen to perform in 3 professional pantomimes .He also plays the piano and he would love to perform live to show you all .
So , we have decided over a period of time he will perform a danceathon/with piano playing in between! For a total of 10 hours to mark each year since his cranio surgery . His sister Ebony may join in too!! We would love to raise as much money as possible for Alder Hey Childresn Hospital and we are so very grateful for all your support . Thanks so much in advance ..love Eden and family xxx
Don't forget to tune in for the lives which will be shared on facebook!
