“Giving is not just
about making a donation. It is about making a difference”

On 3rd September 2022, I will be jumping from 13,000 feet and reaching speeds of up to 120mph, something I have always wanted to do but what a better excuse to do it and benefit the lives of others, in partnership with our chosen charity. The inspiration to take on this skydiving challenge came from a humbling visit to Julia’s House. After seeing the first-hand the care, help, and life Julia’s House can provide, I wanted to do my bit.

I would like to thank learndirect for choosing to partner with Julia's house and for supporting them with the multiple fundraisers we have already participated in.

I am taking on this challenge because I want to help families
face unimaginable heartbreak. Having the knowledge that their child may not live into adulthood is devastating, which makes the staff at Julia’s House that much more admirable. They provide frequent, flexible care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, giving parents a much-needed break.
