So I've signed up for #berlinmarathon in September, I've never run a marathon before so a mixture of nerves and excitement! 🙈🙌💪👊👟💨

I'm running the race for #teamstroke the stroke association. My Grandbaz (Barrington Martin) actually called Barry but tried to make his name a bit more fancy to impress my Nan, which worked because she married him! 😂

Anyway unfortunately Barry suffered from Parkinsons disease and during a operation suffered a stroke. Sadly, for his remaining years he could no longer walk and was not the same man we knew and loved. 🙈

This is a celebration of Barrington and the love and laughter he brought to his friends and family. 🙌

I'm aiming to raise £800 for the stroke association so for the next 9 months I will be that annoying guy asking for donations. 😂🙈

I'm also planning on keeping a online diary of my mental and physical journey to the #berlinmarathon with a monthly post, talking about training, diet and whatever challenges may arise over the next 9 months. 🙌💪👊👟💨
