Story
Earlier this year I went to the doctor because I was feeling lethargic. She sent me for a blood test and the readings were worrying. They indicated that I was overweight and at serious risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
I have a particularly sweet tooth and had tried to head this day off by setting myself a fitness challenge each year for charity. So even though I have run the London marathon, jumped from a plane and climbed Kilimanjaro, the weight went right back on afterwards. So as well as losing weight, I had to address bad eating habits.
By November 20th I have challenged myself to have a six pack.
It is much harder than the other challenges. I got fit but have never had a six pack.
I have an eating and a training plan but my mum is here from St Lucia so sticking to the eating is HARD
I hope to raise £2000 for Diabetes UK and will give regular updates.
