Story
Eddie had been a healthy baby but due to complications either during or shortly before his birth he went too long without oxygen. He then spent two days on life support while the doctors and nurses at St James Neonatal Unit in Leeds did everthing they could for him. It was their hard work, coupled with equipment bought by the generous families of previous patients, that bought Matt and I the two wonderful days we had with our son.
We would like to raise funds to buy a piece of equipment in Eddie's name so that another baby and their family might benefit, and so Eddie can leave his mark on the world.
St James Neonatal Unit treats babies from all over the UK. It is also part of a teaching hospital and therefore trains staff whom will go on to work at other hospitals.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to donate: Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support.
