I am really excited to be running the London marathon 2023 for HEART UK. This is an opportunity and a charity that means a lot to me and my family and is something I never thought I would do!! Many of you reading this will know our story and the unexpected consequences that heart disease can cause and it is for this reason that I am so passionate and proud to be running and raising awareness for HEART UK.
It is an honour for me to be able to say that I am running for my Dad and hopefully with everyones support making a difference towards a great cause. Whatever you can donate big or small will make a huge difference and mean a lot to me. Almost half of UK adults have raised cholesterol which can lead to heart disease. The funds you raise will help us to raise awareness of the dangers of high cholesterol throughout the UK; campaign for improved screening, identification, and treatment of people with raised cholesterol and help us support those diagnosed with either inherited or non-inherited high cholesterol and help reduce their risk of heart disease.
