My wife, Emma, was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2019 which turned our lives upside-down, putting our wedding plans on hold and sending us on a journey to understanding this horrible disease. Soon after her diagnosis, Emma underwent surgery, followed by rounds of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, in order to reduce the size of her tumour and take this fight head on. Her tumour is now stable, and the work that Brain Tumour Research does gets us closer to finding a cure.
My brother-in-law, Jack, and I have decided to run the TCS London Marathon 2024 in order to raise money for Brain Tumour Research and the amazing work that they do. Any donation, big or small, will help to keep us motivated during our training and reach our fundraising target for this amazing charity.
