Story
We're running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12 October 2014 in memory of our friends' son, Elliott Joseph Walker who died on 17 July 2013 aged 10 days.
After 2 days at home, Elliott stopped breathing and was admitted to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Here he was diagnosed with OTC deficiency, a life-threatening condition which meant his body was unable to process protein.
For seven days, his life was in the hands of a group of incredibly kind and talented people who did everything possible to save him. After a phenomenal fight, Elliott died in his parents’ arms at Great Ormond Street.
We're raising money to help Elliott's parents Michael and Jenny create a palliative care room within Great Ormond Street, which is much-needed for parents with terminally ill children.
Anything you could give would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you so much
Ed and Luke
