Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2009 my brother-in-law, James, received a life saving lung transplant. During this time The Freeman Heart and Lung Transplant Association (FHLTA) provided vital practical and emotional support to him and his family. This transplant gave James eight wonderful years, which he made the most of. Sadly in 2017 he passed away following a short illness.

I am aiming to raise £1000 by undertaking an unsupported 100km walk along the Jurassic Coast over the 11th and 12th May in memory of James. I am doing this to help FHLTA continue its important work, supporting transplant recipients and their families during their procedures and beyond.
