We share lifesaving skills to educate and empower young people

Story

In May I'm running the Hackney Half Marathon to money for Street Doctors.

Street Doctors are a great charity, made up mainly of medical students, who give their time to teach life-saving first aid to young people in high risk areas across the UK.

Violent crime is the third highest killer of young people in Europe, and equipping those at risk with the skills to help, even just simple first aid and the confidence to phone an ambulance, can help to save lives.

I'd really appreciate if you could help me out in reaching my target and supporting such a great cause!

StreetDoctors trains young people affected by violence how to be lifesavers, including what to do if someone is bleeding or knocked out. Our movement of young healthcare volunteers empower 11-25 year olds across the UK to make more informed decisions & become StreetDoctors in their communities.
