Story

Hi, I'm Ebony and I am 8 years old. I am autistic and one of my special interests is cats and kittens. They are cute and I like that they all have different personalities. I even love reading chapter books based on cats and visiting cat cafes

I want to take care of the cats that need homes. I would adopt a cat but Mum and Dad said no, but they did say that I could raise money for Cats Protection instead, by walking 9 miles in September (spread across the month) . I don't like walking but I'm going to do it for the cats! £5 of the money could supply 10 days worth of specialist milk to hand-feed an orphaned kitten. £10 of the money could pay for bedding and a safe place to sleep for a traumatised kitten. £150 could provide a full health-check for a cat including blood tests, neutering, microchipping and inoculation. £500 could pay for a caesarean operation and the recovery of a cat in need. £75 could buy complete hide & sleep which helps to minimise stress of hospitalised cats or those in catteries.

I have a cat at home called Rosie. She is 5 years old and playful. Rosie is also very silly! She is white with black patches. She is also very happy although sometimes she gets a little grumpy because we stroke her too much! We have had her since she was a kitten. I feed Rosie and give her the most attention and when I do a drawing of whatever I want, I usually draw her! I wish all cats could be loved like Rosie. Please sponsor me to help this happen because I hate the thought of cats and kittens that don't have a happy home or not much attention. ^.^
