Lloyd Cawthorne was my partner for almost ten years. He was the kindest man you could meet. He wasa funny, genuine, sensitive and I loved him deeply. He was a part of my family, and I am part of his. He chose his time to leave us on 12th October 2022 and he will be forever missed. 

He was so many things to so many people. A loving son, family member, friend, lecturer, captain, teammate, leader, tutor and mentor. He cared so much about his friends, family, rugby team, his students, the University, his caving community and his dog Luna. 

We love you Lloyd and we are blessed to have had you in our lives for your 32 years.
