Story
Along with Eavie I will be running the Cheltenham 10k, while Clayton, Matt and George run the half marathon in memory of my mother in law, Andrea Shutt.
Andrea always tried to convince me to go out running with her, I always said no as she'd show me up! I'll take this as punishment for not joining her on the Great North Run, although I'm still not braving a half marathon!
The Team at Sue Ryder Hospice Leckhampton Court cared for Andrea during her battle with Motor Neurone Disease. They did an incredible job, the care Andrea received was invaluable and she enjoyed every minute of being there.
The work they carry out with the residents and their families is beyond remarkable and I know that we will all be eternally grateful to every member of staff.
Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters.
