Leeds Half Marathon 2023 · 14 May 2023 ·

A number of runners will be taking part in the Leeds Half Marathon in aid of the Leeds United Foundation on Sunday 14th May.

Story

I have decided to run the Leeds Half Marathon on behalf of the Leeds United Foundation.

Working at Leeds United I see first hand the amazing work and opportunities the Foundation provide to everyone in the City of Leeds.

So if you would like to support me and encourage putting myself through hell to somehow manage to run 21.1km then please donate and help to support the community of Leeds.

I will keep you updated on my progress, blood, sweat and tears!

The Leeds united Foundation uses the power of sport to educate, inspire, motivate and support children, young people and adults in the local Leeds community. They deliver over 500,000 hours of educational, health & wellbeing and participation programmes. Last year alone, they supported nearly 43,000 people across the Leeds community. Without the support of partners, donors and fundraisers, the Foundation would not be able to provide community programmes that make a huge difference to so many people throughout Leeds. We will make a difference. We will march together. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Your donations will help in so many ways such as:

➢ £25 could pay for a child from a disadvantaged family to attend a 1-day soccer camp in the school holidays.
➢ £85 could pay for a child from a disadvantaged family attend a one-week soccer camp in the school holidays.
➢ £100 could pay for 30 children from disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in 3 x 2-hour Premier League Kicks sessions.
➢ £150 could enable a talented female footballer to progress onto an Elite Talent Programme to further develop as a player.
➢ £300 could enable us to deliver 10 assemblies in 10 schools to support vital needs such as mental health support or anti-discrimination education.
