My London Marathon for St Joseph's Hospice

London Marathon 2023 · 23 April 2023 ·
On the 23rd April, I’m running the London Marathon in memory of my Nan, Grandad & George.
Running 26.2 miles is an overwhelming and daunting task but is nothing compared to the hard work, support and compassionate care that those at St Joseph's hospice provide.
St Joseph's is a local East London Hospice who provide specialist palliative care to people who are living with a life limiting illness; whether that be at the hospice or the patients home. Something that I have a deep understanding of. Being diagnosed with a terminal illness can turn a family's world upside down. STJH help people to make the most of the time that they have left, and provide expert care so that they can pass with dignity.
Raising £2000 could buy two syringe drivers to administer painkillers and medication to patients, something that is crucial not only to the individual but to those around them. Help me make this happen.
With that in mind, I would be so grateful if you could donate as little or as much as you can. I know that times are particularly tough right now, but this won't only spur me on to finish the course, but to provide another family with the time and dignified end of life for their loved one that I had.
26.2 miles, no big deal right?
Thank you,
Ellie xx
